If marriage, as some argue, is for a man and a woman to enter into for having children; why is it older couples of different sex can marry but older same sex couples cannot? What about heterosexual couples where one of them is sterile? Should such couples not be allowed to marry?
I think the argument that only heterosexual couples should be allowed to enter into marriage since they are the only ones able to have children is ignorant. Plenty of people marry who cannot have children.
