On July 14 we left Dublin and went to Kinsale, Ireland. These photos are from that part of our vacation:
- Click here to see photo set on Flickr <------ Tuesday July 14, 2009 was a day on the bus. Our Rick Steve's tour went from Dublin to Kinsale, Ireland. We went to Powerscourt Gardens where it rained buckets. Then, we went to the Rock of Cashel Castle where we had a great lunch. Finally we went that evening to Kinsale where we heard Liam O sing some great Irish Folk songs.
- Click here to see photo set on Flickr <------ We started Wednesday July 15 with a walking tour of Kinsale led by Don Herlihy. He talked all about the town and the historic battle of Kinsale. Then we went to Charles fort for another excellent tour. Sue and I took the afternoon easy, opting to bus back to town. We went for a tour of the wine museum (lame) at Desmond castle. We then walked around Kinsale more before and after having dinner at Fishy Fishy.
